What a year 2020 was — unprecedented times, businesses closing their doors and industries adjusting to a new world. We are now on month seven of 2021 and communities around the country are still settling into a new norm and attempting to think about business and life as we hope to continue to get a grasp on COVID-19.
Team Growth
For LaborChart, 2020 was a year of growth and 2021 continues to be. From our marketing and customer experience teams to our sales and engineering groups, we’ve added some incredible talent to all sides of our business. We’re a hungry bunch with big goals and have attracted some extraordinary people that will help shape our team for years to come. We’re not done yet — we will be doubling our staff by the end of the year.
Key Partnerships and Integrations
Our continued growth has been fueled by key partnerships and integrations throughout the construction industry. From a new strategic partnership with Autodesk to our growing list of QuickConnect™ integrations (Procore, Arcoro, hh2 Cloud Services, Viewpoint, Snowflake, EHS Insight and more), LaborChart is building relationships while also improving the way our customers access and utilize our cloud-based workforce management platform.
Platform Updates
Our engineering team has been hard at work. We understand how important the user experience is. We will continue to invest in our engineering group and enhance our platform while continuing to focus on customer feedback and industry needs. Recently, we released two new robust editing features that mirror the functionality of a spreadsheet. Batch and Inline Editing simplify the way LaborChart users make edits, but also function the same way spreadsheets do.
LaborChart Recognition
Startland News released their Kansas City Startups to watch in 2021 list and LaborChart landed at #2 on the list. We’re extremely proud of this acknowledgement, but for us, it's just a step in the right direction as we look to expand our business and bring in top talent in the Kansas City area (and beyond).
As business starts to get back to normal, we’re excited to get back on the road.
We were able to attend our first trade show of 2021 at World of Concrete in Las Vegas. Visiting with our customers and technology partners in-person and meeting new people across the construction industry not only helps our business, but also highlights new technology and educates contractors around the world about workforce management.
If you’re a current LaborChart customer, we thank you for your continued support, feedback and business. We’re as excited as ever about what the future holds and how we evolve together.
Cheers to the second half of 2021.
Sincerely,

Ben Schultz, LaborChart CEO
